    New offices
Yesterday my workplace finally moved to our new location after 5 months of waiting.
I finally have my own office with a window, it is most excellent.
Sadly it is even further north than the old location and my commute has grown.

    HERO news
    1. HERO games is coming out with a 6th edition in 2009.
They are looking at all sorts of issues and how the rules work and thing will change.

    2. Champions (the setting) has been licensed and will become a MMORG made by Cryptic games.
But not using the HERO system, they'll be using their own.
HERO games still has the rights to make Champions products and use the art Cryptic puts out.
Cryptic are the people who made City of Heroes, but sold the rights to NCSoft, their publisher. Much of the COH(and villians) dev team went to NCSoft.

    3. Owen, your dream has come true: Luche Libre Hero is planned to come out out later this year from HERO games.

    WGA

    I support the WGA's strike.
But it really sucks that it's happening when there's actually a decent crop of TV shows on this season. Oh, well.

    Back
I'm back and had a great time!
The Black Hills are incredible, as are the Badlands. Pictures look great, but there is something about being there and words pale in their description.
If you want to see my pictures, let me know, I'm putting together a small show and need to adjust the size of the venue.

    Once more, off into space...
It's that time of year again. In less than one month I will be leaving on roadtrip to GenCon in Indianapolis.

This year however, I'm taking my own sweet time: going via Mount Rushmore. I've never been there and South Dakota has some great sites to visit (Badlands, Minuteman Missile Silos, Petrified Gardens, and more!). Plus there's the Devil's Tower just like 2.5 hours into Wyoming.

So I'll hit South Dakota then zoom over to Indianapolis, then back to Oklahoma.

    weekend is heating up!
This weekend my workplace is having the heat and air replaced. So I'm sure as heck not going to be hanging around there.
So who's doing what/want's to do something?

I'm normally not into the 'talent' and 'american idol' shows.
But this is worth a look see.
