Reposting this link from another's blog (thanks bkwormdeb), I find it quite interesting. It is a side-by-side comparison of several science issues.

    random tv thoughts
Anyone else watching Primeval or Star Stories on bbcAmerica?

Primeval should be rampantly cool. But it just lets down. Though Hannah Spearritt is way too cute for her own good.

Star Stories is silly and I don't get all the humour (British humor that is) but it has its moments. "I can lift this barrel over my head, can you do that, Michael?"

Middleman was excellent, I heartily recomment it, though it is over for this season: hopefully we will see it again next year.

The Fall shows are beginning to start and there is too much stuff being scheduled against each other, dangit.

    new vacation
The new plans for vacation are to leave circa October 4th and be back circa October 19th.

I will be heading out west to check out the Grand Canyon and maybe some Yosemite and whatever else catches my interest as I drive by.

    Movies , et al.
Summer continues, much enjoyment from the movies:

Hancock, check. I enjoyed it, but it could have been so much better,it really missed its potential.
Hellboy II: The Golden Army, check. Full of win.
Dark Knight, check. I enjoyed it, I'm not quite as gaga over it as some, but Heath Ledger's Joker is as great as they say. Great acting and the best Joker yet.
Mamma Mia, check. So, yes, I saw it with my sister, but I'm still a sucker for a good musical, and while not a great one, it's an enjoyable bit of a movie.
Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor, check.

I had planned to be heading out on vacation this saturday, but we lost a developer at work (the second most senior) and a customer is having a big event on the 16th, so I've had to delay until October the 3rdish. Then, however, I'll be heading out west, see the Grand Canyon, Yosemite, and other places.

    Kung Fu Panda, check.
    Incredible Hulk,check
    Get Smart,check.
    Wall-E,check.

    New offices
Yesterday my workplace finally moved to our new location after 5 months of waiting.
I finally have my own office with a window, it is most excellent.
Sadly it is even further north than the old location and my commute has grown.
